John Ferguson
John Ferguson is an ex Finance Director and founder of the FinancePeopleCoaching practice. He brings over 25 years of experience in finance leadership, previously worked in both public and private sector, in companies that are privately owned to large multi-nationals, with stints in the UK, Germany and India. He is a trained professional coach with a track record of developing high-performing finance teams and guiding individuals to achieve career breakthroughs. In 2025, he reached a point in his life where he recognised that his experiences and lessons learned afforded him the opportunity to “share and give back” to help others grow, continue to learn personally and have fun along the way. John is an associate of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and his spare time, follows Liverpool FC, love travelling and enjoys cooking – the last two a legacy of growing up and living in Malaysia in his younger days!
